Balance travel stress with stress-free attire. Whenever and wherever I’m traveling, I make it a point to combine comfort and style with what I wear for a flight.

When you look back years ago at what people used to wear for traveling — high heels, dresses, and to the nines — I mean, power to them. But, thankfully, those days are long gone. Plus, if you really need to be dressed up for a direct to set, interview or work meeting, with options like Sanctifly, Priority Pass and credit card lounge access, you can easily land, get access, and pull a Clark Kent before you leave the airport.

Here’s a quick run down of the top five clothing brands I’m loving right now for the day of travel and flying.

They claim to have the softest joggers out there, and this claim isn’t bold. It’s true. I came across Vuori years ago when doing a promo campaign for YogaOutlet.com comparing a variety of joggers. These were GOLD in the bunch.

Coming in long, regular, with pockets and easy waist tie, I have turned on at least three of my closest to buying these fabrics in bulk.

A treasure of a find when I was in LA and browsing Michele Marie PR for outfits for a photoshoot and panel I was moderating on for Miami Swim Week. I grabbed a jumper and the pants, and immediately asked Sara at the PR company, “Where can I buy these!?”

Ethical clothing with a serious sense of style, perfect for European summers or year-round comfort.

The name says it all — I originally connected with Cozy for their bedding and soft sheets, later their clothing for sleep. Soft enough, the sleepwear doubles perfect for travel attire. Most of their pants and sweat shirts (at least the two I received) were double-layered for added warmth on colder flights.

A long staple in my wardrobe since my die-hard yoga days, lululemon may not always be a favorite when it comes to company ethics, but that’s not the discussion at hand here. For attire, I’ll pass on the leggings (too restrictive) but go for their hoodies, soft long sleeves and sweat crops or pants.

A bit on the higher end, but my partner turned me on to this company. Oh, and are their shirts are soft! Los Angeles based, and plenty of stylish attitude to go with their more classic designs.

One look at their instagram account, and you'll get the vibes and feel — successful surfer meets weekend vibes. Or, in this case, ready to travel.
