What Is Eternal Beauty?

I love receiving messages from you Warriors over on social. Sometimes, they really hit home for me, and I feel compelled to share this with a greater voice. This one comes from LiveFreeWarrior on instagram.

“No one’s ever told me I’m beautiful… It sucks.”

A brave little warrior wrote this to me in a private message, and my response was,

“Well, you’re beautiful! Now someone has. That’s easy…and note too, that beauty does comes from within & has nothing to do with the exterior.

“I’m based in Miami and there are many beautiful outside-looking people (plenty of surgeries too), however, [some] are completely fake and jerks on the inside.

“External beauty fades, and means nothing in the end. True beauty & joy is in someone’s eyes…” how they treat others, and their energy.

LFW: “EXTERNAL BEAUTY FADES…TRUE BEAUTY CAN BE SEEN IN SOMEONE’S EYES AND THE JOY THEY BRING TO OTHERS.”

I personally resonate with this deeply, because I didn’t like myself for the longest time either. Trying to escape who I was, the shell of a body that I was in, because even if somebody told me you’re beautiful, I still didn’t believe them. It wasn’t until I started to believe who I am on the inside and learn to love me did I start to except the interview day and also begin to see that in others.

Take a moment today to look yourself in the eye in the mirror, and say to yourself, “I am beautiful” — Because you are! You decide that, not your genetics.
