16 Jan {VIDEO} Live Free in the Kitchen: Gingerbread Healthy Holiday Cookie
Happy Holidays, wellness warriors!
As live free warriors, we’re all about breaking self-limiting rules and stuck mindsets. In this clip, I’m sharing some holiday cheer and breaking the idea that cookies, baked goods, and holiday treats are all unhealthy. Not to mention, my debut singing performance on camera as well!
Step aside, sugar cookies! Check out this version of a healthy, tasty, and nourishing treat that is easy to make and rewarding to share (just ask some of my yogis from classes this past week). The Gingerbread Holiday Cookie can be prepared as a raw ball, or a baked cookie. I’m sharing with you both options! Further, it’s not created using any processed white flours, sugars, or unnatural additives. Ever more, it’s vegan and dairy free, so no need to worry about any food allergies your guests or holiday eaters may have.
INGREDIENTS //
• 1 Cup Pitted Dates
• 1/4 C Vega French Vanilla Protein Powder
• 1 tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tbsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp all spice
• (optional) sweetener of choice
The two main ingredients that shine in this sweetness are the dates, and the Vega protein, making this a fiber-filled, protein-packed, and naturally sweetened bite for you to make, share, and enJOY this holiday!
Inspire your family and friends a satisfying dessert, that will become your NEW favorite cookie.
Did you try? What did you think? (About the cookie, or my singing! Haha!
