I couldn’t have found a more appropriate quote to support this photo and recap this day. Travel is really one of the deepest loves of my life, and one thing that I am always up for on a moment’s notice. Something that is true and honest, however, is that not every trip is perfect, not every plan goes the way you booked, and just because you decide to take some time to go away the universe will for-go any hurdles in your path.

Why? Because one of the greatest parts of traveling are the lessons you learn along the journey.

Yesterday and today were one of those days, with less than ideal outcomes for certain “tests” the universe tossed in our paths. But, really, in the grand scheme of things, we got everything we wanted to accomplish yesterday complete, we landed safely in Cabo, we’re IN Cabo, met some new friends at the airport, connected with a small but big-hearted car rental service that treated us with honesty and pride, and are now offered the experience to see not one, but two locations, to film and experience here in Baja Sur, doing this all with the person I love most in this world.

Really? Life is awesome. Thank you Javier Olmedo for being a part of the light in my life, and for sharing these sunsets, moons, adventures, laughs, tears, memories, and connections with me.
