18 May DAIRY-FREE (VEGAN) BANANA ICE CREAM
For the love of cows, check out this dairy-free, healthy and tasty alternative to ice cream! One of the simplest recipes out there, and super tasty for the entire crowd or family (kiddos too!). Starting with this base recipe, get creative, letting your tastebuds decide, adding in any kind of topping your crowd wishes! Running low on creative juice? No worries, I’ve got some suggestions below.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes (or less!)
SERVES: 2
TAGS: dairy-free, vegan, soy-free, gluten-free, dessert, anytime snack

INGREDIENTS
- 2 peeled frozen bananas
- 1/4 C almond milk (or dairy-free milk of choice)
- dash of cinnamon
Kitchen Tip: I’ve made the mistake before of freezing the bananas before peeling, and what a PITA (pain in the a**) it is to peel them after! Make sure to de-robe the ‘nanners prior.
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender (I’m using the Vitamix Pro)
- Add toppings of choice (need some ideas? See below for list of suggestions)
- Serve and eat immediately!

SUGGESTED TOPPINGS
This one’s all a matter of taste, but here are a few of my favorite things to add, many shown in the pic below:
- goji berries
- cacao nibs
- puffs
- chopped GoMacro bars
- sliced almonds
- crushed walnuts
- fresh berries
