28 Dec 10 Tips To Feng Shui Your Home
Basics of Feng Shui: A CIVANA Resort Experience. Full article and originally shared on Vacayou Travel Magazine.
As wellness travelers, we’re typically seeking adventures that will move our minds and our bodies. On a recent trip to CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa, this trip moved my home. Well, chi, technically.

1: BAGUA MAP
Using this to map, or block, out your home energy spaces.
2: DESTRY DUST BUNNIES
Cute name; horrible energy blocker.
3: KEEPING WINDOWS AND DOORS OPEN
When cleaning out your home spaces, ensure the “negative chi” can move itself out of your home by opening doors or windows to offer it an exit escape.

4: THE BAGUA COLORS ARE JUST A GUIDE
No, your bedroom doesn’t have to be pink, nor your office purple. Hidden elements can work as well, using the Bagua as a guide.
5: USING RED AND MIRRORS STRATEGICALLY
Block, deflect, stop, or halt — red will stop energy from draining out, for example. Mirrors will deflect the energy.

6: REMOVE SHARP OBJECTS FROM THE BEDROOM
No, not a fetish thing. Ha! It’s an energy thing. For better sleep, restore, dreams and relationship flow, removing sharp objects can create better sources of love and restorative sleep into your life.
7: CLOSE THE TOILET LID
Listen up, exes — I was on to something with this one. Closing the lid not only smells and looks better, it prevents energy from (literally) draining down the toilet.

8: BE A CHANGE-MAKER
Using the numerals 2 and 7, to add up to 9, being the number of infinite possibility. Move around 27 objects in an area of your Bagua to create change in that energetic area of your life.
9: POSITION YOUR DESK IN A PLACE OF POWER
Face the door, be open to a window or light, without your back to the door or any energy/person that can come behind you. More in the article and video linked above.

10: EMF-FREE YOUR BEDROOM
Getting rid of the negative ions from electronics and outlets is crucial to better sleep and bodily restore.
Have you heard of feng shui before? Give these tips a try, and see if you can increase the flow of energy in your home.
